Enjoy a variety of outdoor events this summer at Travelers’ Rest. Celebrate the outdoors, learn about indigenous culture, commemorate the Lewis & Clark Expedition, and more.
Trekker Kids is a series of activities and programs for kids and families that celebrate the outdoors of western Montana and the rich history of the Travelers’ Rest site.
In 2021, a diverse group of scholars, storytellers, and speakers will reflect on the theme of Reimagining America as they share stories and histories via Zoom on Saturdays at 11 a.m.
SELF-GUIDED SITE TOUR
Pick up a brochure at the Visitor Center and follow the markers around a half-mile loop trail.
HOLT HERITAGE MUSEUM AND VISITOR CENTER
Exhibits include Seasons of the Salish, Lewis and Clark Expedition Replicas, a diorama of the Expedition’s campsite at Travelers’ Rest, Native American beadwork and handcrafts, natural history specimens and more.
